About Our Sleep Studies in Green Valley

Our sleep studies, whether in-lab or at-home, are designed to accurately assess various sleep-related issues, allowing us to offer effective, personalized treatment plans. They are as unobtrusive as possible, making it a comfortable process so you can fall asleep as easily as you normally would.

The goal of our studies is to detect and monitor brain activity, eye movement, heart rate and rhythm, breathing patterns, oxygen levels, and body movement.

In-Lab Sleep Studies: Our in-lab sleep studies are conducted in a comfortable, controlled environment. We utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to monitor sleep stages, breathing patterns, heart activities, and more.

At-Home Sleep Studies: For convenience and comfort, we also offer at-home sleep studies using innovative technology. Our at-home studies allow patients to undergo sleep assessments in the familiar surroundings of their own home, making the process less intimidating and more accessible.

The Technology We Use

To conduct our sleep studies, we have two devices—both offering comfort and easy use—to monitor patterns of sleep.

SleepImage System

The SleepImage System involves a ring-like device worn on your finger. It’s a non-invasive that allows you to do a sleep study without a lab visit.

To start you will pair the device with a mobile app. This app acts as the core platform where your sleep data is logged and analyzed. Dr. Pandhi will assist you in configuring the app.

At bedtime, you simply wear the SleepImage Ring. Once activated, it starts monitoring and recording various sleep metrics throughout the night, including your heart rate, breathing patterns, and any snoring episodes, among other things.

ARES™ Home Sleep Test Device

The ARES™ Home Sleep Test is a special sensor worn on your head. It will detect breathing patterns while you sleep. The data is automatically sent to the lab for analysis.

Dr. Pandhi begins the process by equipping you with the device, which includes a forehead band and two small nodules that comfortably attach to your nostrils. While distinct from the SleepImage System, this approach also ensures minimal discomfort and maximizes efficiency in data gathering.

Over the course of the night, the device diligently records your breathing patterns, collecting vital data crucial for the diagnosis of sleep disorders. The device seamlessly sends your sleep data to our team for thorough analysis.

Sleep Disorders Our Studies Diagnose

No matter your age, achieving sufficient quantity and quality of sleep is critical for your health. Sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, or TMJ dysfunction can hinder your ability to enjoy life to its fullest.

These disruptions can lead to night terrors, mood swings, and depleted energy levels. Moreover, they are linked to severe health issues such as hypertension, anxiety, depression, heart conditions, diabetes, and certain cancers. Optimal sleep quality can vastly improve your quality of life overall.

Our sleep studies help detect the following:
